Thanks for your comment the other day over at my "work" blog. It's a real rush to get a compliment from someone that I don't know and who understands painting like you do. I'll be watching these landscapes of yours. They are my favorites for now.
Oh, well, I meant it! Your work is fascinating and so unique. Looks like a bunch of fun, too. Even though I can't quite fathom the amount of planning that must go into your large scale stuff.
W/r/t "fun". . . its weird, I don't have it when I'm painting for other people. I might occasionally get in a groove or feel proud or pay the bills, but it is always just short of pure fun. Fun is for me.
As far as "planning". . . large scale projects are no different than small scale: How can I do this the fastest, cheapest, and best. Bigger tools for bigger paintings, its the same theory of color and marks.
